Hubei Normal University
Hubei Second Normal University is located in Wuhan, Hubei Province. It is a provincial general undergraduate college with teacher education as its main feature and pedagogy, literature, science and other disciplines as its main support. The predecessor of the school was the Hubei Provincial Education College founded in 1931. In April 2003, Hubei Industrial School was merged as a whole. In September 2003, the school moved to the East Lake New Technology Development Zone-Wuhan China Optics Valley Park. In January 2009, Hubei Economic Management Cadre College merged with the school. In 2012, the school successfully passed the undergraduate teaching qualification evaluation of the Ministry of Education. Over the past 80 years since its establishment, the school has trained nearly 150,000 outstanding graduates and made outstanding contributions to basic education and economic and social development.
The school is located in the core area of China Optics Valley, with beautiful mountains and rivers and convenient transportation. The campus covers an area of 1,718 acres, a building area of 434,000 square meters, and 1.1 million paper books and materials. The school has 15 secondary colleges, 49 general undergraduate majors, and 17,000 full-time students.
