Wuhan Railway Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1956. It is a national exemplary full-time general higher vocational college with railway characteristics sponsored by the People's Government of Hubei Province. In order to adapt to the development of national vocational education and cultivate skilled talents that meet social needs, the college recruits 500 full-time general secondary school students from the society according to the 2013 enrollment plan issued by the Hubei Provincial Education Department.
